Multidisciplinary Placements
During your placement you will be scheduled to spend time working alongside and learning from professionals from disciplines other than your own.
On the first day of your placement your primary clinical placement supervisor will tell you where and when you will have these experiences.
The QUT - GP Super Clinics Project is an innovative program aimed at increasing the number of clinical training places available to students across nine health disciplines at QUT. These placements are available in four General Practices: Strathpine GP Superclinic, Golden Beach Medical Centre, Gladstone GP Superclinic and Tyack health®. These placements are multidisciplinary in nature, giving students the opportunity to experience placement in a team care environment. This clinical training initiative is supported by funding from the Australian Government under the "Increased Clinical Training Capacity (ICTC) Program". The project is currently offering placements until 2013
