Samantha Streiner
Bachelor of Health Science (Nutrition and Dietetics)

Samantha Streiner

‘Completing my Bachelor of Health Science (Nutrition and Dietetics) has allowed me to use my passion for food and nutrition to help individuals and communities. The variety of cases and situations in dietetic practice is not only enjoyable and stimulating, but it also helps people to change their lives. Appreciative feedback and witnessing an increase in motivation to change is satisfaction for me as a health professional.’

Jacqui Brown
Bachelor of Health Science (Nutrition and Dietetics) graduate

Jacqui Brown

Jacqui is currently working in remote Aboriginal communities in the Northern Territory to support community-based workers with nutrition education, cooking programs and food budgeting advice.

‘We also get to go on bush tucker trips and play lots of food-related games with the kids. I worked as a locum clinical dietitian at the Alice Springs hospital after an extended uni clinical placement. So far I love the variety and the team approach of working with other health professionals - it’s also such a rewarding career!’
