Undergraduate study

The School offers two undergraduate programs in human movement studies that are ideal if you want a career that promotes physical activity, health and wellbeing. We also provide an orientation camp for commencing students to help them become familiar with their new peers and our academic staff.

These courses involve an applied scientific approach to exercise, health, and fitness setting. It is recommended that students have completed some study in at least one of Maths B, Maths C, Biological Science, Chemistry, Physics, Health Education, or Physical Education.

Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology Linked to another web site – a clinically orientated four-year degree designed for students interested in a career as an accredited exercise physiologist specialising in rehabilitation, injury prevention, exercise programming, and clinical diagnostics.

Bachelor of Exercise and Movement Science Linked to another web site – a three-year degree designed for students who wish to specialise in corporate and community health and wellness, sports science and performance analysis, research in exercise and movement science.

Our undergraduate degrees in nutrition and dietetics focus on the promotion of health, as well as the prevention of diet-related disease.

Bachelor of Health Science (Nutrition and Dietetics) Linked to another web site – a clinical four-year degree for students who wish to become Accredited Practising Dietitians with advanced knowledge in the science of nutrition and how to apply this knowledge to advise on appropriate diet, food preparation and menu planning to treat chronic disease.

Bachelor of Health Science (Nutrition) Linked to another web site – a three-year degree that encourages students to examine issues that affect the whole population and develop innovative ways to promote health lifestyle choices and prevent diet-related disease.

Postgraduate study

The School has an exciting postgraduate program offering a mix of research and coursework. Students enjoy a supportive, collaborative atmosphere and engage in a number of unique learning and research activities.
