Currently the Human Movement Studies Programs provide services to the Queensland community in a number of ways:
- Through a fitness testing and exercise prescription program for elite athletes and sports-people assessed in the Human Movement Clinic and Human Performance Laboratories.
- Members of the community and local industry may undergo exercise screening prior to participation in physical activity or other corporate fitness programs conducted by the School.
- An on-campus Wellness Program has been implemented to serve the health and quality of life needs of all general and academic staff. This rapidly developing program brings staff and students undergoing Practicum together and provides an opportunity for all University staff to experience applied Human Movement Studies with regards to improving lifestyle. It is a positive social integrating force between students and staff on the campus and contributes to staff health and well being and student learning.
