Biography
Professor Elizabeth Beattie joined the School of Nursing and the Dementia Collaborative Research Center at the Queensland University of Technology in April, 2008. Her academic and professional credentials were obtained in Australia, the UK and the US. Her previous positions were in the School of Nursing and human research ethical oversight at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. USA. She has extensive clinical nursing, curriculum development, teaching and research experience in psychiatry and gerontology. She has worked with people with dementia and their caregivers for over 25 years.
