About Women’s Wellness Research Program – improving the health of Australian women

The Women’s Wellness Research Program

There are five studies associated with the Women’s Wellness Research Program including:

Four Women’s Wellness Programs:

  1. The Midlife Women’s Wellness Program
  2. The Chronic Disease Women’s Wellness Program
  3. The Pink Women’s Wellness Program and
  4. The Indigenous Women’s Wellness Program

and

The Healthy Ageing of Women Study

These projects address key health priorities in Australia, and are built on current evidence about significant lifestyle factors that are known to be associated with chronic health conditions. The current studies advance knowledge in the field by evaluating longitudinal data on the midlife and healthy ageing in women and testing the health impacts of interventions to improve the uptake of positive health behaviours and lifestyle changes which reduce modifiable risk factors for common chronic health conditions in adult women and midlife issues.
