International Health Program
The International Health Program at the School of Public Health initiates international activities, including research, projects, consultancy and teaching:
- International Projects, Research and Training – ranging from short courses and consultancy to ongoing research and capacity building projects.

International Teaching and Practical Placements for Students – providing hands on experience to undergraduate students of Public Health, enhancing cultural awareness and nurturing collaboration between QUT and public health institutions abroad.
- Opportunities for International Students – search for undergraduate and postgraduate coursework degrees in public health and/or make an international enquiry, look at international study options such as student exchange and other options for international student applicants.
- Postgraduate Research Students – providing experienced supervision for international students wishing to complete a PhD, Professional Doctorate or Masters by Research in the field of public health. See International Health Program Committee for a list of staff involved in international research.
- International Health Program Committee - responsible for developing and supporting linkages with international public health agencies and Schools of Public Health for the purposes of capacity development, collaborative research and training. Committee members are SPH staff members involved in one or more of these activities.

The Asia-Pacific Academic Consortium for Public Health - The School of Public Health is an active member of this international non-profit organisation, dedicated to improving professional education for public health throughout the Asia-Pacific Region. Associate Professor Elizabeth Parker is the School’s representative.
