Internet-based treatment for alcohol and depression problems


NHMRC Project grant $684,000 over 3 years: This project compares effects of a brief treatment for alcohol and depression problems with those of two longer programs—one which starts with the alcohol problem, and one that lets people choose the order of program modules.

A new intervention for alcohol craving


NHMRC Project Grant $665000 over 3 years: This project tests a new psychological treatment for alcohol craving against a standard treatment for alcohol problems, and a brief intervention.

Strategies to promote dissemination of programs for people with serious mental disorders and substance use disorders Australian Rotary Health Research Fund $120000 approx over 2 years: This project examine the effect of dual diagnosis workers providing consultation to mental health staff on how to deal with comorbidity. It also has funding from Queensland Health of over $323,000.
