I have undertaken two years of study at QUT, which has awarded me a Graduate Diploma in Psychology and I have recently finalised the Honours Psychology Degree.
As an international student, the experience of studying in a foreign language in a foreign place has certainly been a challenge at times. However, QUT has offered various forums for personal and academic support that has assisted my learning and helped me progress as an academic writer. This support was particularly valuable during the demanding task of producing an Honours thesis. I also received extraordinary guidance and encouragement from my supervisor, beyond what I could ever expect from someone with such a busy schedule and numerous responsibilities.
Although I would classify QUT as a relatively large university, members of the staff have always made the extra effort of maintaining a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The friendly environment made it easier for me to develop relationships with staff and other students and helped me to feel connected to the school.
QUT is a university that recognises the hard work and academic achievement of their students. Studying at QUT has challenged me tremendously but also rewarded me for my accomplishments. My time here has undoubtedly been memorable!
