New Double Degrees
Health + Creative Industries = real edge
QUT's exciting new 4 year double degree - Bachelor of Creative Industries (Media and Communication)/Bachelor of Health Science (Nutrition or Public Health) - will prepare graduates for a cutting-edge career in the promotion and improvement of health using media and communication.
Media and Communication graduates with qualifications in health will have a strong role in communicating, educating and encouraging behaviour change across health issues such as obesity, drug abuse, smoking and disease.
The Faculty of Health has also combined the two complementary areas of public health and human movement studies in a new double degree - Bachelor of Applied Science (in Human Movement Studies)/Bachelor of Health Science (Public Health). This degree will prepare multi-skilled professionals with an understanding of exercise and sports science, and public health.
Double degree advantage
Double degrees provide graduates with a broader range of career options. Graduates can choose employment from either of their chosen disciplines or may choose to work in an area that combines skills across both complementary disciplines.
Whatever career you choose, our double degrees provide more options.
Double degrees are usually completed in 4 or 5 years (full-time), taking less time to complete than studying each degree individually.
