Equity Bursaries
The Faculty of Health Equity Committee offers five $500 Equity Bursaries each year to support students experiencing hardship.
The application process for the QUT bursaries for enrolled students is available at the QUT Equity web site.
This process is also used to determine awardees of the Faculty Bursaries. Applicants unsuccessful in gaining a QUT Bursary are considered for a Faculty Bursary.
Faculty Bursaries
A Faculty of Health Equity Award worth $400, is awarded each year to an undergraduate or postgraduate student enrolled in the Faculty of Health. The candidate must demonstrate exceptional application, determination and enterprise in any year of a Faculty of Health course.
Staff in the Faculty's Schools make nominations to the Equity Committee.
The Faculty of Health Equity Committee has limited funds to assist students struggling to meet costs which are additional to their normal fees.
