This one year full-time program (two years of part-time study) equips graduates with research skills necessary to pursue higher degree research study, as well as skills in planning and presentation highly valued in the labour market. A significant component of the program is a supervised research thesis which will be, for many students, the first experience of such work.
The Honours thesis is completed under the guidance of an individual supervisor and is marked by two assessors one of whom is usually external to the program.
Honours courses are Commonwealth supported places and deferred payment arrangements are available under HECS-HELP assistance.
